Qualifications & Skill Set :-
● Bachelor of Engineering or any equivalent degree from tier 2 or 3
college
● More than 5 years of web and mobile application automated and manual
testing experience.
● Prior management experience in a complex software environment.
● Acumen for hiring, mentoring and growing team members.
● Experience with defining, executing and automating acceptance test
cases.
● Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
● Excellent understanding of the SDLC, preferably Agile and Test-driven
methodologies.
● Strong ability and eagerness to quickly learn new technologies.
● Must have- Selenium, Cucumber.
Job Summary
Quality Assurance Lead Engineer is to assist the organizations to formulate
quality standards and regulations for employees and for the product produced as
well. They must analyse the data gathered and plan accordingly to improve
product quality. The QA Lead will be accountable for identifying the mistakes
and inspecting the procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
● Plan, execute and monitor product testing.
● Analyse production data to identify areas of growth.
● Maximise the profitability of the company by enhancing product quality.
● Ensure that the product undergoes stringent testing and auditing before
reaching the consumer.
● Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that
standards are met.
● Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.
● Have a good understanding of testing practices such as TDD/BDD/ATDD,
● Review business / software requirements and provide inputs
● Prepare / review test plans.
● Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager,
etc) to ensure the highest level of software quality.
● Experience with any API Testing tool such as Postman, SoapUI, Apigee,
Katalan Studio, Swagger, Tosca
● Experience with any QA testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Eggplant,
SilkTest, Jmeter, LambdaTest, Zephyr, Qmetry etc.
● Proven ability to manage a team (minimum 3+ years)
● Experience in test planning and strategies
● Accountable for defining the Automation Test Strategy and leading the team
to implement automation modern autotest capability.
