Job Description:
• 8+ years of experience in trade finance domain, with 3+ years in OBTF functional roles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather requirements for trade finance
products.
• Analyze existing processes and perform gap analysis against OBTF’s standard
functionality.
• Understand and analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and prepare
detailed Functional Specification Documents (FS)
• In-depth understanding of trade finance instruments and their end-to-end lifecycle.
• Experience with OBTF product configurations, screen flows, and functional setup.
• Strong knowledge of:
o SWIFT message types (e.g., MT7xx & MT202)
o International trade finance standards (UCP, URDG, INCOTERMS)
• Ability to write BRDs, FSDs, and other functional documentation.
• Liaise with trade finance business teams to understand and document detailed
requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis between client business processes and OBTF standard
functionality.
• Define and document functional specifications for enhancements, customizations, and
integrations.
• Configure trade finance products and services in OBTF.
• Set up rules for product workflows, charges, accounting, and validations.
• Work with technical teams to translate functional designs into technical deliverables.
• Develop and execute functional test cases for unit, integration, and UAT phases.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios for functional testing.
• Assist users during UAT and ensure business requirements are met.
• Provide post-go-live support and user training on OBTF modules.
• Advise stakeholders on process improvements and system usage best practices.
• Provide training to users and create end-user documentation.
• Document process flows, user manuals, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with international trade finance standards.
