About the Role:
We’re seeking a talented and experienced CICD DevOps Administrator to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in our software development lifecycle by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using a primarily open-source toolchain. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, operations, and stakeholders to ensure seamless continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of our applications.
Responsibility
· Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging open-source tools like Jenkins, Github, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonarqube or similar alternatives.
· Configure and manage infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines using open-source solutions like version control systems (e.g., Git), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), and continuous integration servers.
· Integrate automated testing strategies within the CI/CD pipeline for early defect detection and improved code quality using open-source testing frameworks.
· Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth operation and identify potential bottlenecks.
· Collaborate with developers to improve code quality and champion best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
· Stay current on the latest trends and innovations in DevOps methodologies and open-source CI/CD tools.
· Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on DevOps practices from an open-source perspective.
· Document and maintain clear and concise CI/CD pipeline configurations using open-source documentation tools.
Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong focus on utilizing open-source tools.
· Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using primarily open-source solutions.
· In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies in the context of open-source tools.
· Expertise in scripting languages like Linux, Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
· Mastery of Git version control system.
· Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker (a plus).
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and the open-source ecosystem.
